The Alliance awards are designed to recognize and showcase Alliance students, faculty, CNPs and nonprofit organizations who exemplify best practices in nonprofit management and professional development.
All award nominees will be reviewed by a national awards selection committee composed of Alliance partners, including campus faculty, CNPs, workforce partners, board members and AMI sponsors. The committee will evaluate award nominees based on specific criteria outlined for each award. All award winners will be selected and notified confidentially prior to AMI. Public announcement of award winners will take place at AMI 2019 in Orlando, Fla at the Rosen Plaza Hotel on January 4, 2019.

All candidates for the CNP of the Year Awards must be nominated by an individual within the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance’s network (CNPs, nonprofit partners, campus partners and national board members). An individual may also nominate oneself.

The Nonprofit Partner of the Year Award is presented to a nonprofit organization that demonstrates leadership and commitment to the preparation of the social sector workforce through its partnership and support of the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance. The award recognizes a nonprofit that has significantly utilized its partnership with one or more Alliance campus partner(s) to further the work of the organization. Criteria for the award include:
All nominees for the Nonprofit Partner of the Year Award must be nominated by an individual within the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance’s network of CNPs, nonprofit partners, campus partners, and national board members.
A complete nomination application must include an online application nominating the organization for the award with specific outcomes that speak to the award criteria (200 words or less). The application consists of 4 brief questions that address the criteria.
